Meet Jon & Corah
Jon — Engineer & Systems Specialist
Jon is an experienced sailor with more than 35,000 nautical miles and over a decade of ownership experience aboard SV Prism, a Hans Christian 33 T that he fully refit stem-to-stern in 2018.
He specializes in electrical, mechanical, and marine systems: surveys, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and full-vessel walkthroughs.
Corah — Sailing Instructor, USCG Captain (pending)
Corah is an ASA and US Sailing certified instructor, currently pursuing her USCG 100-ton Master license. She has served as first mate on multiple charter vessels, and crew aboard a 100-ft tall ship. She has also volunteered to teach several women’s and girls’ sailing seminars.
She also owned and lived aboard her own sailboat and spent the past three years solo sailing the Channel Islands, gaining deep experience in real-world seamanship, anchoring, and coastal passagemaking.

We bring complementary strengths – navigation, seamanship, systems knowledge, heavy-weather experience, and instruction – providing new sailors, couples, and boat owners with steady, confidence-building training.
